"They were fantastic hosts, and my wife and I had an excellent stay! I would highly recommend this place to anybody. The location was sooooo beautifully landscaped, and the couple that runs the place was diligent in their care for the guests and very sweet to speak with. They made us a fantastic breakfast and eating in the patio in the garden by the creek was even more than we expected by seeing the photos. That morning a little river otter came up and down the creek! They raised the bar of hospitality high!"

"This place is an absolute gem and I am so glad to have found it! A beautiful old Victorian, lovingly restored with lots of attention to detail. Nestled right next to a creek, and the property extends along and across the creek, with walking trails, and plenty of cute and inviting sitting areas along and INSIDE the creek. I had originally booked the Quartz room, but Robert was so kind to upgrade me to the Falling Water room as it was available that night. It has it's own little balcony directly above the creek and waterfall and I slept wonderfully to the sound of the water. Bob is as gracious of a host as can be and he shared many details of the property, the renovation process and plans for the future... I will be back! Oh, and let's not forget the breakfast including all kinds of yummy food, fresh fruit and such. This is a place where you just want to stay, hang out with a book and let your feet dangle in the water. As I said, I will be back. :)"

"My goodness, this is the place to stay in Nevada City. The room and the B&B are amazing, all the comfortable modern creatures comforts and delightful thoughtful touches, and a gorgeous remodel or a classic Victorian. But above all, outstanding and genuine hospitality, the hosts were so lovely, great to chat with and gourmet cooks."

"The best experience you could ask for. A beautiful historic home located on a wonderful property a very short walk from the middle of Nevada City. It was so nice to walk around the property, strolling along the river with a coffee. We had a wonderful stay. Bob and Jep were very friendly and welcoming, giving us some history of the house and the town. The breakfast was outstanding too. We will come back!"

"This place was simply amazing. I cannot say enough great things about the property and the hosts. Beautiful Gold Run Creek runs right by the inn, bringing sweeping breezes right up to the room. The sound of the creek at night was relaxing and renewing. The room itself was beautiful and comfortable. The Inn is just a short, scenic walk away from all of the downtown happenings. Bob and Jep cooked a delicious breakfast in the morning. They were so incredibly accommodating- like good friends. We keep talking about our stay with all of our friends and we just can't wait to go back. Thank you so much for everything!! Will and I had a great time. We keep talking about it and we can't wait for our next visit to the Inn."

"I can't say enough about this place, and Bob and Jep. We had the loft and it was huge, with a nice sitting area and nice and private. The number of places to go on the property was too many for a weekend. Breakfast was awesome, especially the fruit sculptures by Jep. Local activity and recommendations galore, not that you needed them because just sitting by the stream was relaxing enough. Well-positioned into town. Bob and Jep went way above and beyond in their hospitality. Just fabulous."

"The whole property is beautiful but the falling water room will take your breath away. It sits above the waterfall and with the window open you can hear it running which is so relaxing. The owner Bob, who is incredibly nice and so welcoming, has done some amazing things with the property as far as keeping it's old rustic feel and giving it many beautiful, modern touchs. The location is also great because it is only about a 5 minute walk into the city. We are already planning our next trip and wouldn't dream of staying any where else."

"Bob and Jep are amazingly attentive hosts. And the space is awesome. From the waterfall and rushing creek setting with a wooded trail nearby to the eclectic furnishings and detailing in the walls, tile, floors. Hard to describe-lovely. Also nice 5 min walk to town (entertainment, dinner, theatre). Food was well prepared and served casually enough to be relaxing and homey. Don't get me started on the fresh baked cookies and fudge:). The inn offers several different rooms with unique features. Talk to Bob about what best meets your needs in advance-- even though he's super flexible about making requested changes."

"The Gold Creek Inn is a triumphant return for this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. The owners Bob and Jep have remodeled this gem and turned it into such a beautiful destination. We had a great stay and loved the proximity to town which allowed us to stroll around town for dinner and blues music, and stroll back. The property is right on a beautiful bubbling creek. I would highly recommend staying here."

"My girlfriend and I had an incredible experience at the Gold Creek Inn. Bob and his wife have done an amazing job restoring and remodeling this historic inn into a spectacular getaway in such a beautiful setting. Bob was in contact with me right away to ask when we planned to arrive to make sure to greet and welcome us to the Inn and area in general. His local recommendations were greatly appreciated and we had such a fun time exploring the historic downtown area that is just up the street. Upon our return, Bob and his wife were cooking dinner. They own a Thai restaurant in Auburn and surprised us with a plate of the best red curry we have ever had. I want to come back to take a cooking class and spend more time relaxing and exploring the area. Thanks again for such a unique and special experience! We were celebrating my girlfriend's birthday and you guys made me look like a rock star. She loved it! We loved the location, decor, setting and, most of all, the owners!"
